CD Techs support a variety of programs and projects within the Community Development department. CD Techs work closely alongside others to contribute to strategic initiatives that create and preserve affordable housing in Washington County. CD Techs also play an important role with department administration, including record management, research and analysis, and a variety of special projects related to diverse topics within the sphere of community development.

CD techs are responsible for a range of tasks including procuring small contracts for construction and professional services; reviewing contractor submittals and closeout documents; processing invoices; updating capital asset inventories; managing departmental records; monitoring County development activity; researching policy issues; conducting surveys; reviewing documents; coordinating meetings; compiling data; producing various informational materials. The hiring range for this position is $23.37 – 28.43/hr. based on experience.

 

Project Manager II

Washington County Community Development Agency is actively seeking a Community Development Project Manager II with a focus on construction and real estate development activities.

Project Manager II (PMII) oversee a variety of programs and projects that support community development and affordable housing in Washington County. PMIIs focused on construction and development routinely work with contractors and design professionals to implement major rehabilitation and capital improvement projects throughout the CDA’s portfolio of 1100+ affordable rental units. Additionally, PMIIs play a lead role in new housing initiatives and partnerships to undertake significant redevelopment in Washington County communities.

PMIIs work independently on the budgeting, financing, design, procurement, and implementation of their assigned projects and oversee work by outside consultants and professionals. PMIIs are routinely involved with essential functions that include site inspections; project planning; contract procurement; construction management; site acquisition; design and planning review; finance applications; deal structuring; and compliance oversight.
